Lita’s Treats was birthed from the vision of Lolita “Lita” Lindsay, a Southern Belle who was born to bake! From a very young age, Lita was surrounded by talented bakers who nurtured and encouraged her hobby.  After winning her first baking competition at 9 years old, Lita soon realized that this hobby would evolve from a passion into purpose.

Lita decided to step out on faith and trade her paralegal hat for her apron in 2014. She later opened Lita’s Treats storefront in Columbia, South Carolina and the rest is history. Lita’s signature Red Velvet cupcake quickly became her best seller and her customer based grew exponentially. Over the years, their menu has expanded to include cheesecake, cinnamon rolls, over 30 flavors of gourmet cupcakes and more. Simply stated- Lita’s Treats is your ultimate destination to fulfill your sweet tooth!

When Lita is not baking, you can find her spending quality time with her husband and business partner, Paul, and their 13-year-old daughter, Leah. Some of their favorite family pastimes include bingeing the Food Network, traveling and fine dining.
